Someone once said, "Cheaters never prosper," but for one incredibly unfortunate husband, he has learned the hard way just how true that statement is.
According to the UK Sun, an unidentified 30-something got caught with his figurative pants down when he caught the coronavirus while on a secret trip to Italy with his mistress.
His wife, who under the assumption that he was on a business trip, remains utterly unaware of his shenanigans, believing that he picked up the virus while on a business trip. But karma, also going by the name of COVID-19, came in and bit him in the ass. He is expected to survive.
"He thought he had the perfect alibi to carry out his affair but hadn't reckoned on the coronavirus meltdown. The patient is just relieved he got home before flights were canceled - that would have taken some explaining."
She won't be blissfully unaware after this article comes out. "He's in a blind panic, but more about his adultery being exposed rather than his health."
